Update: Information on the current delivery situation

RELAXATION IN THE DELIVERY SITUATION AFTER TURBULENT YEARS

The last 2-3 years have been characterized by explosively increasing delivery times due to Covid-19 as well as various political and economic developments, resulting in component shortages. However, there has now been a welcome development: the entire delivery situation is easing and has largely returned to pre-Covid-19 levels.

Delivery times are decreasing and the market is slowing down. Currently, the average delivery times of manufacturers STM, TI, TE etc. are 16-25 weeks.

However, some manufacturers such as Yageo, Panasonic, Nichicon, etc. are still expecting delays due to the unrest in the Red Sea and the earthquakes in Japan. These events will lead to an extension of the delivery time by about 10-14 days.

PRICE STABILITY IN THE MIDST OF CHANGE

While gold and copper prices continue to rise, most prices remain unchanged. The price ratio is stabilizing and significant price increases should not be expected.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

Experience in recent years has shown that this is only a snapshot in time and that everything can change again within a very short space of time. We therefore continue to recommend planning ahead and placing orders at an early stage. It is advisable to prepare for possible bottlenecks and to be prepared to use alternative components, as individual critical components may still occur.
