The application of the CE marking is mandatory for all devices placed on the market in the EU that are subject to the relevant CE marking legislation. By affixing the CE mark, the manufacturer declares that the product has been subjected to the prescribed conformity procedure and complies with all applicable European legal regulations.
The CE marking is affixed exclusively by the manufacturer or his authorized representative.
