EMC Expert Forum

On-site meeting in Wäschenbeuren

This month it was that time again for the members of the EMC Expert Forum to meet for a day to exchange ideas on specialist topics relating to EMC. For the first time, we invited to the on-site meeting at the Baudisch Electronic building in Wäschenbeuren.

Würth Elektronik employee Markus Thoss kicked off the event with a presentation and discussion on the topic of “EMC with LT-Spice”.

Afterwards, Carsten Hampel, employee of the Baudisch Electronic EMC laboratory, presented electromagnetic fields (EMF) in theory and in practice.

The visitors also had the chance to visit the electronics production of Baudisch Electronic GmbH. Production manager Achim Hilger presented all areas from PCB assembly to optical and electrical testing to device assembly and answered our guests’ questions. Another tour took place in the Loxone Show Home, where the visitors could experience the building automation of Loxone.

For more than 2 years, the members of the forum have been meeting in regular online meetings to discuss questions, innovations and problems around the topic of EMC.
