Apprentice project 2021

Baudisch Electronic invests in the future by providing high-quality in-house training for young people and thus actively counters the shortage of skilled workers in the industry.

An integral part of our training are cross-department apprentice projects, with which the apprentices are introduced to project work under real conditions.

The basis of the projects is the independent and autonomous work of the apprentices. We attach great importance to the fact that the training supervisors and involved department heads act as learning process facilitators. This means that no instructions are given, but that independent work creates learning opportunities that are sometimes not possible in other day-to-day training.

This philosophy enables the apprentices to carry out the project on their own responsibility, from the first presentation of ideas to the management to the final handover of the board to the department.

The aim of the interdisciplinary projects is to go beyond the classic training content and to recognize and promote the apprentices’ individual strengths. Among other things, there is a strong focus on optimizing the participants’ communication, organization and teamwork.

This year, the apprentices dealt with the latest addition to our machine park – the wave soldering machine.

The project consisted of designing an information board about the new machine and how it works. Our apprentices recorded their experiences about the project in a separate blog post.
